‘The latter days of the Fourth Age (as reckoned by the Elder Races) of the world of Pelennor were a time of relative peace. However, an emerging pattern of disturbances and growing unrest indicated, to those with the perspective to perceive such things, that the time of peace was coming to an end. A malign force had arisen, and was growing in power. The Council of Mages, self-appointed prime movers and manipulators of events, guided by the Elder, begin to lay plans to combat the emerging menace.’

 

‘Unknown to the Council at that time, agents of an unidentified power were gathering a group of representatives of various Races. These individuals are brought together in an unlikely area called the SorrowVale. Here they embark on an adventure that will lead them on a very long journey and series of quests, culminating in a final confrontation with the Enemy.
